The Baltimore Morehouse Alumni Foundation proudly invites the community to the 2026 Morehouse Freshman Send-Off, a special celebration honoring our newest class of Baltimore‑area Men of Morehouse. This annual tradition uplifts incoming freshmen as they prepare to begin their transformative journey at Morehouse College.

Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Northside Baptist Church
This gathering will bring together students, families, alumni, and supporters to recognize the hard work, dedication, and bright futures of our incoming Men of Morehouse. The program will include words of encouragement, fellowship, and practical resources to help students transition confidently into their first year at the House. It is a moment of pride and purpose as we send these young men off with the support of the Baltimore community behind them.

During Worship Service
The celebration continues Sunday morning with a Send-Off Blessing during worship service.
Pastor Rev. Dr. Walter L. Parrish III ’81 will welcome Pastor Rev. Dr. Walter S. Thomas, Jr. ’03 of New Psalmist Baptist Church, who will deliver a powerful message and offer prayers over our incoming Morehouse students.
This meaningful moment of faith and fellowship ensures that our young men leave covered in encouragement, guidance, and the strength of community.
